Radio Program with Amy Wood

September 24th, 2009  |  Published in Radio Program

Amy Wood is a member of the ballyhooed “traditional media.” She’s also pioneering the use of social media in television broadcast journalism. During her evening news program, she interacts with her audience via chat, 12seconds.tv, and Twitter. All throughout the day, she stays in touch with Upstate South Carolina viewers through Twitter and Facebook. The result? A loyal fan base that not only pays attention to Amy’s program, but to everything newsworthy in the Upstate—they don’t want Amy to miss a thing!

This interview was one of my very first episodes of blogtalkradio.com. In social media years, it was long ago enough to have come over on the Mayflower. Though that IS a long time ago, Amy’s passion and content are probably even more relevant today that those many months ago.
