Want to get and keep the attention of your marketplace? Features and benefits won’t get you very far. After your third or fourth “One day only sale,” folks will quite listening.
Telling good stories, now that’s the way to cut through the clutter and connect with your audience. Elizabeth Sosnow is a master story crafter. As manager director of the New York City’s BlissPR, Elizabeth works with B2B brands to discover and develop stories (what I do on a smaller scale in the South).
I first discovered Elizabeth’s work through a guest post she published on Jason Baer’s blog Convince and Convert. There, she suggested companies explore their existing published works to uncover “intellectual capital” to be leveraged to build stories.
In preparation of this episode of the Social Media Professor, she created a special How to Find Your Story worksheet to give you help in discovering and developing your own story.
